Onward & Upward are weekend-long retreats for 12-15 year olds. The retreats use a curriculum focusing on character traits of godly men and women. We began this semi-annual program in 2004 with 39 teenagers and 46 volunteers. The next retreat is September 12-14, 2008.

Royal Family Kid’s Camps, Inc. is an international non-profit organization that provides the foundation for creating week-long camps. Contact them at www.rfkc.org. In our nine years of RFKC, we have reached over 650 different children with over 950 different volunteers. We expanded to two camps in 2006 with a total participation of 193 children and 218 volunteers. The camp dates for 2008 are June 23-27 and July 27-August 1. Both camps will involve 135 volunteers and 128 children.

The SUMMIT is our weekend-long retreats for 16- to 18-year-olds. The curriculum focuses on skills that will help them function better as adults. Examples include managing bank accounts, completing job applications, and mock interviews. We began this semi-annual program in 2007 with 12 teens and 16 volunteers. The next retreat is scheduled for October 12-14, 2008, for 25-35 teens and 30-40 volunteers.
