SHOW THE LOVE TO OFC !

We need your help. Soon, we will be launching our year-end giving campaign like we do this time every year. It is a great opportunity for those who have not given to OFC but would still like the tax break for 2018. They can give their year end gift to us by December 31st.

Our campaign this year will be centered around asking supporters (like yourself) “Why do you love Our Father’s Children?” Maybe it’s because you have been with Darren and Melinda since the very first Royal Family camp in 1999. Maybe you just discovered OFC and can’t wait to be a counselor at either a summer camp next year or one of our weekend retreats. It could be one of a number of reasons why you love OFC.

So that’s where you come in. We need either VIDEOS or AUDIO MESSAGES sent to us that explains why you love OFC. And to make it easy, we want you to do it directly from your smartphone. After you are finished, you can share that video or audio file with our marketing contact, Donny Vaughn (aka The Guy Who Flies the Drone at Royal Family). You can text it directly to him at 817-300-0035.

On the recording, follow these instructions:

• Make sure you are in a quiet space when recording to avoid loud background noise
• If you are using a video, we would prefer the video to be recorded in horizontal mode so turn your phone sideways
• Include your NAME and maybe what your connection is to OFC (i.e. I’ve been a Royal Family counselor for 5 years)
• Keep the recording to a limit of 1 minute, preferably in the 30-45 second range
• Be specific about what you love about OFC. If you want to mention more than one thing, that’s great as long as you keep the recording to the timeframe indicated above. 🙂
• After you are finished, share it with Donny at 817-300-0035

It is our goal to receive your recording just as soon as possible (do it this week!) so we can use it during the campaign.

We will be displaying these recordings in a format that showcases your video or your voice along with approved photos and videos of the children we support. We may personalize the videos based on your recordings. For example, if you talk about the Royal Family Kids Camp Tea Party, we have some approved video we can show with that. Or maybe you love the Dinner & Auctions we have every spring – we can show pictures from past events. We will then use these videos as part of our campaign on social media and our website.

So you get the idea. Now it’s time to help send in those recordings. And we cannot thank you enough for helping us with this project.
