Misty Geary
Community Engagement Director
Misty began serving with Our Father’s Children in 2015 alongside her husband, Brandon, and members of their church family. Over the years, OFC has become an important part of their family’s life, and their three children, Barak, Kana, and Kellie. She has seen firsthand the impact of showing up consistently and building relationships with children and young adults impacted by foster care. Misty holds a Bachelor of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and brings a range of experience in nonprofit leadership, local ministry, program development, operations, and employment services. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed building programs and bringing people together around a shared purpose. She also serves as Director of Programs for The Vine Project, a local nonprofit supporting young adults as they transition toward independence, and on the Board of Directors for the Azle Community Caring Center. Misty enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and serving with her church.
