Camp Akiva Kitchen Manager

In 2018, Rebecca’s homeschool friendships drew her to apply as an assistant cook at Camp Akiva. Instantly she fell in love with the ministry, leading her to return the next two summers as head cook. After summer camp in 2019 God moved Rebecca to Colorado where she spent two years growing her culinary experience at Beaver Creek Ski Resort. Living in Colorado, however, could not keep Rebecca away from the Akiva/OFC ministry; she served as a counselor for RFKC in August 2021. Rebecca returned to Texas in 2022 with extra experience under her belt and her newfound passion for cooking. Rebecca took her love for OFC and cooking, and joined the Camp Akiva team as kitchen manager. When Rebecca isn’t whipping up amazing meals you can find her in a hammock with a great book and her cat, Goose.
